WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
You might think, oh, those are only for applications, grants, and funding. But even if you're not applying for anything, Artistic Statements are a kind of scaffolding we create for ourselves so that we can keep going with our project, a way to maintain our commitment to the work.
We will look at a few examples of different approaches to the Artistic Statement so that you can create one that is unique to you! We will do 3 short writing sprints (no athletic ability required) to free write from 7 optional lenses from a place of grounded embodiment to create some raw material.
