What: Our monthly program for new play development
Who: Open to all playwrights, $10 for Play Cafe members, $15 for non-members, free for high school and college students; we supply the services of 2 professional actors and a qualified facilitator
How: Bring up to 10 pages of
, with the major roles assigned to the actors, double-casting and using playwrights in attendance to help read other parts and stage directions.
Why: To hear how work-in-progress plays when read unrehearsed by professional actors, and to get feedback on how your play plays
When: every second Thursday of the month from 7pm-10pm; sign-up starts at 6:30; playwrights are accommodated on a first-come-first-read basis
